Client: A Sophisticated Man
Brief: To create a brand identity and packaging to sell Cocktails to men.
Design Solution: Cocktails for men, a unique idea deserving of a unique design. The name 'A Sophisticated Man' was developed as part of the brand identity associating sophisticated men, with their known cocktail of choice. With mixes from Frank Sinatra, James Bond and Ernest Hemmingway.
The bottle is wrapped in paper, embossed with copper. The wrapper unravels, upon pulling on the string, which reveals a message from the founder and a story about the specific sophisticated man who drank this cocktail. The sophistication of the brand gets people interested, and the comic slogan of "Putting the Cock in Cocktail" keeps them interested. This project has been rolled out to incorporate posters, coasters, the shop front, a book on "How to Cocktail" and more.
